Panduan Setup Lengkap

Panduan ini menjelaskan setup macOS fresh dari awal hingga environment development yang fully configured.

Prasyarat

• MacBook Air M2 dengan macOS 27.0
• Apple ID
• Koneksi internet
• Akses admin

Fase 1: Setup Sistem

1.1 Konfigurasi Awal macOS

1. Selesaikan macOS Setup Assistant
2. Sign in dengan Apple ID
3. Enable FileVault (opsional tapi direkomendasikan)
4. Setup Touch ID
5. Konfigurasi Time Zone dan Language

1.2 System Preferences

Nilai lengkap yang perlu direproduksi didokumentasikan di MACOS.md. Versi singkatnya:

MACOS.md memuat blok defaults write lengkap untuk semua nilai non-default, termasuk hot corners, Finder, trackpad, screenshot, dan clock.

Fase 2: Development Tools

2.1 Xcode Command Line Tools

xcode-select --install

Ikuti prompt untuk instalasi. Verifikasi dengan:

xcode-select -p
# Harus output: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools

2.2 Homebrew

Tambahkan ke PATH (Apple Silicon):

2.3 Paket Inti

Cara paling andal: brew bundle install --file=Brewfile dari repositori ini.

2.4 Tool di Luar Homebrew

uv, ty, dan CLI writer tidak dikelola Homebrew, jadi brew bundle install tidak memulihkannya. Lihat TOOLCHAIN.md untuk detailnya.

Fase 3: Aplikasi

3.1 Kaku Terminal

brew install --cask kaku

3.2 Dia Browser

Download dari website resmi dan drag ke Applications.

3.3 Vorssaint

brew install --cask vorssaint

Fase 4: Instalasi Dotfiles

4.1 Clone Repositori

git clone <repo-url> ~/Developer/dotfiles
cd ~/Developer/dotfiles

4.2 Jalankan Installer

# Pratinjau dulu: tidak mengubah apa pun
make install DRY_RUN=1
 
# Terapkan
make install

Installer membuat symlink dari ~/.config/, ~/.gitconfig, dan ~/.zshrc ke repositori. Daftar symlink ada di scripts/lib/symlinks.sh. File asli yang sudah ada dicadangkan lebih dulu ke ~/.dotfiles-backup/.

4.3 Pasang Git Hooks

make hooks

Git hooks tidak ikut ter-version-control, jadi langkah ini wajib diulang di setiap clone baru. Tanpa ini, pre-commit quality gate tidak aktif.

4.4 Konfigurasi Shell

Installer menyiapkan ~/.zshrc dengan integrasi Kaku. Restart terminal atau jalankan:

source ~/.zshrc

Fase 5: Permission

5.1 Grant Permission

Buka System Settings > Privacy & Security dan grant:

5.2 Verifikasi Permission

Fase 6: Konfigurasi Akhir

6.1 Konfigurasi Git

6.2 SSH Keys

ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "your.email@example.com"
eval "$(ssh-agent -s)"

6.3 Verifikasi Instalasi

cd ~/Developer/dotfiles
make verify

Troubleshooting

Homebrew tidak ditemukan

eval "$(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)"

Symlink tidak bekerja

cd ~/Developer/dotfiles
make clean
make install

Permission tidak berlaku

1. Restart aplikasi
2. Cek System Settings > Privacy & Security
3. Hapus dan tambahkan ulang permission

Shell tidak load konfigurasi

source ~/.zshrc

Checklist Pasca-Setup

• Semua aplikasi terinstall dan terkonfigurasi
• Permission sudah di-grant
• Git terkonfigurasi dengan info user
• SSH key sudah di-generate
• Dotfiles sudah ter-symlink
• Konfigurasi shell sudah loaded
• Backup terjadwal (Time Machine atau serupa)
